Indian Education Program Specialist

As our Indian Education Program Specialist, you will work closely with the Indian Education Director and will be devoted to Native American Education issues. You will work collaboratively with Native students, families, and communities and the federally recognized Tribes in Oregon through the government-to-government process to develop initiatives as identified in the American Indian / Alaska Native Student Success Plan. Some of the initiatives include the preserving and fostering of Indigenous languages, supporting the implementation of Tribal History / Shared History efforts, and administration of the Tribal Attendance Promising Practices efforts.

Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Student Plan Coordinator

As our Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander Student Plan Coordinator, you will support the development and implementation of the Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander State Plan. You will be responsible for organizing and facilitating the Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander State Plan Advisory Group charged with advising on the development and implementation of the Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander State Plan, including rulemaking. You will also monitor and support grant programs associated with the Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander State Plan across the P-20 system (early childhood through higher education).
